Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Pearland, TX is hiring for a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomy support role. You will welcome donors, screen eligibility, record vital signs, and assist with donor compensation while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced center.

The position offers evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts, with a paid training program to prepare you for daily donor interactions and center procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk/stand for full shift.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs., with occasional lifts up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• 1+ years in a customer/patient-facing role is helpful.
• Glove use due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring safety of donors and team.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
