BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support donor eligibility, safety, and center operations in Visalia, CA. The role reports to the Center Manager and collaborates with the Center Physician on medical matters.

You will work under BioLife and Takeda guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and providing center-level support for environmental health and safety programs.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus graduate education in nursing.
• Current licensure as RN/NP/PA in the state of assignment.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• FDA-approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, and examinations.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate donor suitability or deferrals.
• Support EHS programs and assist with vaccination initiatives and incident reporting.

Conocimientos

CPR Certification

AED Certification

Nursing license

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent; graduate nursing program

Current RN/NP/PA licensure in state of assignment

FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training
