Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a part-time Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support donor screening and center operations in Visalia, CA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nursing program graduation and state licensure requirements.
• Current RN/NP/PA license in the applicable state.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Basic competency in IV therapy and donor evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage donor adverse events and review lab results, including SPE if applicable.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and coordinate with Center Physician/Medical Affairs.
• Support vaccination programs and EHS-guided employee safety.
• Assist with donor transport planning for emergencies and maintain center SOPs.
