BioLife Plasma Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a part-time Medical Support Specialist (LPN/LVN) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, document medical history, review lab results, and manage donor safety under physician guidance.

The role requires state-licensed LPN/LVN, CPR/AED certified, and at least two years of clinical experience, with FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved nursing program and hold LPN or LVN licensure in the state of responsibility.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education and self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance criteria, physical exam, blood testing, and review of SPE results.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies according to SOPs; arrange donor transport if needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical/technical issues and donor safety.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and seek occupational health/ER evaluation when needed; refer to EHS guidance.
