Qualifications

• Licensed EMT-Paramedic in the state of responsibilities.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs and transport when needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or complex medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees when applicable.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance and assist as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
