Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Oklahoma seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to ensure donor safety and regulatory compliance. You will assess donor eligibility, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable findings, under the Center Manager and Center Physician supervision.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, CPR/AED, and clinical experience, with weekend rotation and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a state nursing program qualification.
• Licensed or certified as LPN/LVN in the state of responsibility.
• CPR and AED certification currently active.
• Meet state IV therapy requirements.
• Complete FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and testing requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage incidents with occupational health/EHS guidance.
