Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of physical therapy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to react calmly under stress and maintain safety.
• Ability to follow guidelines and adapt procedures as directed.
• Commitment to professional, compassionate patient care.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Professionalism and discretion in handling patient information.

Responsibilities

• Clean and organize the treatment area and disinfect equipment after use.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities under supervision.
• Observe and report patient progress to physical therapists.
• Transport patients to and from treatment areas as needed.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Educate patients on proper use of equipment and routines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations.
• Assist with inventory and stocking of therapy supplies.
• Perform related duties as required.
