Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners in Lowell, MA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the PT team and help patients recovering from orthopedic injuries. Onsite schedule with typical hours Mon–Fri, 7am–7pm; Fridays 7am–4pm, with variation by clinic needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Minimum one year of experience, preferably in a clinic setting.
• New York license.
• Current CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist PTs in providing services to improve mobility and relieve pain for orthopedic patients.
• Administer and supervise exercises; apply modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs).
• Record patient responses and outcomes; maintain clean, organized treatment area.
• Documentations using Athenahealth EMR for timely records.
