Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Aide to join a collaborative team in Setauket, NY. You will assist therapists, prepare equipment, and help with patient transport and exercises in a state-of-the-art facility.

The role includes front desk support, scheduling, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during sessions. Evening hours Tue 3pm-8pm and Wed 7am-2pm reflect a part-time schedule in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Anatomy and kinesiology knowledge required.
• Familiarity with therapy equipment and patient handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists by preparing supplies and assisting patients during sessions.
• Serve as a scribe for documenting exercises under supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and observe patient safety and confidentiality.
• Provide front desk support and scheduling as needed.
