Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in New York area is seeking Physical Therapy Aides to support therapists in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinic. You will help prep therapy spaces, assist patients with exercises, and monitor progress under supervision.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with anatomy knowledge, therapy equipment, and clear communication. Evening hours include Tue 4pm-8pm and Thu 12pm-8pm, with competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Anatomy & Kinesiology.
• Knowledge of the equipment used in therapy work.
• Knowledge of the behavior and needs of patients.
• Knowledge of proper strengthening techniques.
• Ability to cover 15-20 minutes from home office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scribe for recording and editing therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Prepare heat and ice packs, assist patients to the pool, guide exercises and equipment.
• Ensure operation of treatment equipment and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Educate patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and routines.
• Prepare patients for therapy sessions and provide front desk support as needed.
• Maintain inventory and assist with scheduling and other duties.
