Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Wisconsin seeks a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform donor screening, phlebotomy, and maintain donor records while delivering high-quality customer service.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with shifts typically 4–6 hours and 3+ days per week, plus paid training and opportunities to grow within a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays will be worked.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs., occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.
• 1+ years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet and focus on our donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
• Be there for donors, including working a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.
