Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Boardman, OH. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collections, handling specimens, and ensuring accurate patient data entry.

You will travel to additional sites as needed and support the patient service goals of Labcorp. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with preferred 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
