Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, and delivering excellent customer service. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy training or certification. Flexible scheduling Monday-Saturday, variable hours up to 19 per week; PST incentives may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent phlebotomy training or 3 months experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training required.
• Able to pass color blindness test.
• Overtime flexibility.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned
