Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions as trained and documented.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client information.
• Navigate computer systems accurately and enter data for billing and tracking.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing and email/phone tasks.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with policies and procedures.
