Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Phlebotomist I in Hanford, CA, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with rotational weekends. Requires a state phlebotomy license; NHA licenses are not accepted in CA, WA, NV. Pay range is $21.80-$23.75 per hour with potential annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred, requirement varies by state.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens following established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging and preparing for transport.
• Enter data accurately and verify orders using lab systems.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with policies.
