The role requires a state phlebotomy license (NHA not accepted in CA) and offers a pay range of $26.35-$31.40 per hour with potential annual bonus opportunities.

The position emphasizes accurate data entry, adherence to procedures, and maintaining logs, while supporting patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and driver's license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric tests.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders by using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones.
• Follow departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and related maintenance logs.
• Complete trainings on time.
