The position offers a pay range of $24.50 to $26.25 per hour and eligibility for annual performance bonuses, depending on performance and company policy. Responsibilities include collecting specimens, documenting orders, entering data, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify test orders using lab systems and client information.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing) as needed.
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
