Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Englewood Cliffs, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist II to join our team Thursday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with rotational Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This role requires strong patient interaction and precise specimen collection.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $24.50 to $26.25, with eligibility for annual bonus based on performance, and part-time benefits designed for 29 hours or less per week.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/on-call/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screenings).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
