Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Summit, NJ, is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and perform related duties on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays every other week.

The role offers a pay range of $24.50–$26.25 per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonus in a supportive, patient-focused environment. Required are phlebotomy experience and strong data entry skills; certification preferred in some regions.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screening).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Navigate lab technology systems to verify orders and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, preparation for transport).
• Perform non-patient duties (inventory, cleaning, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training records; complete courses timely.
