Job summary

BioLife in Houston is offering a part-time plasma donor screener role with phlebotomy duties to support plasma center operations. Typical shifts run 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with scheduling confirmed early in the interview process and changes communicated in advance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and take donor vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
