Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support role at our Kyle, TX location. You will greet donors, screen health information, record vital signs, and assist with donor compensation while ensuring safety and quality across center operations.

The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with shifts typically 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week. A high school diploma and customer-facing experience are helpful traits for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to walk/stand for entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays a must.
• Ability to bend, stoop, or reach as needed.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation in the information system.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
