Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Michigan is seeking a part-time role focused on plasma donation screening and phlebotomy. Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with scheduling confirmed early in the interview process.

Reliability during assigned hours is essential and schedule changes will be communicated in advance. Key responsibilities include donor intake, screening, vital signs, and coordinating donor compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift.
• Experience handling potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1).
• Minimum 1 year of customer or patient-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
