Takeda’s BioLife Plasma Center in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a part-time plasma donor screener with phlebotomy duties. You will greet donors, screen for eligibility, collect vital signs, and document data in the Donor Information System. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in a customer/patient-facing role helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts and records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and assist with center process improvements.
