Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy. Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties.

Hours are part-time with 24 hours guaranteed weekly, potentially up to 40 hours based on business needs. Location is 1 Southtowne Dr., Potosi, MO 63664, with shifts 8:15am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, lunch 12:15–1:00.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Missouri.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Maintain professional communication with staff and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
