Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy in Potosi, MO. Primary duties include dispensing prescriptions and clerical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

The role offers 24 guaranteed hours per week with potential to flex to 40. Requirements include an active and unrestricted Missouri Pharmacy Technician license and reliable transportation; preferred certification and data-entry

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Missouri Pharmacy Technician license.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Preferred National Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription orders and make them available for verification under supervision.
• Fills prescription orders and maintains inventory records.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Works with the Pharmacist to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicates professionally, verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
