Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with a one-hour lunch. Location is home site in Mesa, AZ, with coverage across 14 sites in the East Valley area.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted AZ Pharmacy Technician license or Trainee license; must obtain within 60 days.
• Ability to travel to 14 East Valley sites for coverage.
• Reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinics.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
