Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy in St. Louis, MO. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

The role supports in-clinic pharmacies and medication management services. The position offers 24 hours weekly with potential to flex up to 40 hours. Workdays are Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm at 1430 Olive St., Room P.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license
• Reliable transportation required
• Onsite work at 1430 Olive St., St. Louis, MO 63103
• Part-time availability 24 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and update inventory records
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and compliance with federal/state requirements
• Perform clerical duties related to the department
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Other duties as assigned
