Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm, with eight-hour shifts. You will provide exceptional customer service, manage inventory, process orders, and help ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacy Technician license.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for an eight-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
