Job summary

CVS Health in New Jersey is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply your didactic learning in real-world practice, supporting our pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription processing and compassionate patient service across store operations.

Under a pharmacist preceptor, you will gain hands-on experience through a structured training roadmap, complete required SOPs, and learn to collaborate with leaders while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment or acceptance.
• Active intern and/or technician licensure, or in process, as required by state.
• Availability to work weekends as part of essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and patient counseling under supervision.
• Provide immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Participate in training roadmap and peer coaching.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory and documentation per SOPs.
