Job summary

Bank Michigan is seeking a part-time Personal Banker (teller) for the Manchester branch. The role requires a professional, customer-focused demeanor and cash handling experience, with a willingness to learn and grow using technology.

Responsibilities include deposits, withdrawals, product explanations, and daily balancing of cash and ATM operations. Prior banking experience is preferred, and the candidate will assist customers with Online Banking and other services.

Qualifications

• Provides superior customer service while performing over-the-counter deposit/loan transactions, product/service sales and problem solving.
• Prior banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts and enters deposits.
• Cashes checks and processes withdrawals after verification of signatures and balances.
• Promotes and explains other financial institution services such as loans, IRAs, CDs and money orders.
• Receives payments and ensures amounts match balances due; enters payments into computer records.
• Balances cash drawer at the end of shift and reports discrepancies.
