Job summary

Bank Michigan is seeking a Part-Time Personal Banker (Teller) to support Onsted and Brooklyn Branches and float to other locations as needed. You will deliver customer-focused service, handle deposits and loan transactions, and promote banking services.

Responsibilities

Receives checks and cash for deposits, verifies amounts, and enters deposits into computer records
Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances
Promotes and explains other financial services (loans, IRAs, CDs, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks)
Receives loan and other payments and records them
Counts, packages coins and balances cash drawer
Balances cash drawer at end of shift and reports discrepancies
Checks night depository bags and records information
Uncovers customer needs and helps open accounts/services
Review of account documentation and CIP
Scanning and uploading documents
Daily ATM balancing
Ordering of checks/deposits
Process daily night drop
Assist customers with Online Banking (set up, password resets)
Open/close the branch operations
Collaborate with team to meet branch goals
Assist with other duties as assigned
