Job summary

M&T Bank's Manchester branch is hiring a part-time Teller in Manchester, PA. The role focuses on delivering a superior customer experience, handling transactions accurately, and guiding customers through digital banking options.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of retail cash handling and customer service experience, and be available to work the branch hours Monday through Saturday, including two Saturdays per month. The schedule runs 8:30am–5:30pm weekdays and 8:30am–12:30pm Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months customer service experience.
• Retail cash handling experience helpful.
• Proven verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to customer service standards and provide a differentiated experience by understanding customer needs and delivering solutions.
• Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations; identify self-service opportunities that meet needs.
• Engage in lobby management, meet and greet customers and address needs.
• Balance and process customer transactions accurately following Bank Policy.
• Log and resolve customer complaints in the system and escalate as needed.
• Transition sales opportunities and connect customers to appropriate banking partners.
• Support branch operations such as cash ordering, vault, ATM, and wire transfers.
