Job summary

Bank Michigan is seeking a Part-Time Personal Banker (Teller) to assist in our Onsted and Brooklyn Branches and to float to our other locations as needed. Prior banking experience is preferred; candidates should have customer service and cash handling experience and be proficient with technology.

Provides superior customer service while performing over-the-counter deposit/loan transactions, product/service sales and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Receives deposits and cash for deposits; verifies amounts and records transactions.
• Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; ensures customer balances.
• Promotes and explains bank services such as loans, IRAs, CDs, and online banking.
• Balances cash drawer and reports discrepancies; handles night drop and ATM balancing.
