Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited program, or military surgical technologist program.
• Certification: NBSTSA or NCCT Surgical Technologist; BLS required.
• Preferred: 1 year of OR experience in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scrub and/or second assisting roles per OR procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Pass instruments, drapes, and prepare sterile dressings.
• Assist with positioning, counts, and specimen handling as directed.
• Support team with room turnover and equipment readiness.
