Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited Surgical Technology program or a military CST program.
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT Surgical Technologist Certification.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Experience in a high-volume operating room is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as Scrub Technologist and/or Second Assisting Technologist.
• Maintain sterile environment and aseptic technique.
• Assist with positioning, gowning, and draping of the patient.
• Pass instruments, anticipate needs, and support the surgeon and team.
• Participate in pre-brief, time-out, and debrief sessions.
• Assist with room setup, case turnover, and instrument decontamination.
