Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a full time Certified Surgical Tech to support the Operating Room team, scrubbing or circulating for a wide range of surgeries under supervision of a Staff Nurse or designee.

Responsibilities include assisting the surgeon and anesthetist within the scope of a technician's training, preparing supplies and instrumentation, and performing light housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an OR education program recognized by St. Mary's Medical Center required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the OR as a scrub or circulator for most surgeries under supervision of a Staff Nurse or designee.
• Assist the surgeon and anesthetist within the technician's scope, prepare supplies and instrumentation, and perform light housekeeping as needed.
