Job summary

Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics in Salem, Oregon, is seeking an anesthesia technician to support safe surgical care in our operating and procedural environments. You will ensure equipment readiness, assist anesthesia providers, and contribute to a fast-paced perioperative team.

This full-time, 40-hour week position offers non-exempt status with a 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule, opportunities for professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree - graduate of an Anesthesia Technologist program; two years of direct Anesthesia Technician experience in an acute hospital setting may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardio Life Support is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot anesthesia machines and patient monitoring equipment to ensure readiness for each case.
• Retrieve blood products and prepare cell saver and rapid infuser equipment following guidelines.
• Assist with medication administration under supervision of a licensed provider.
