Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Per Diem OB/GYN ultrasound technologist at Advocate Sherman Hospital to perform comprehensive non-invasive, invasive and vascular OB/GYN imaging with accurate documentation and high-quality image review for diagnosis.

Maternal Fetal Medicine experience is required, and fetal echo experience is preferred; ARDMS certification and AMA approved ultrasound education are expected; schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with no weekends or major holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of ultrasound.
• 2 years OB/GYN experience required.
• Proficiency in fetal echocardiography within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN ultrasound exams with accurate documentation.
• Provide high-quality images for diagnosis of high-risk OB/GYN patients.
• Assist in invasive procedures and coordinate with physicians.
• Maintain equipment operation and safety; document findings.
