Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago seeks an experienced OB/GYN ultrasound technologist to perform comprehensive imaging, fetal well-being assessment, and documentation for high‑risk pregnancies.

You will assist with invasive procedures and ensure accurate labeling and reporting, while maintaining equipment and patient safety; ARDMS certification and CPR are required, with NT certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of ultrasound.
• 2 years OB/GYN experience.
• Must become proficient in fetal echos within 1 year of hire date.
• ARDMS-Registered in OB; Nuchal Translucency certification within 6 months; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive non-invasive, invasive and vascular OB/GYN ultrasound procedures and document findings.
• Provide physiologic assessment of OB/GYN vasculature and fetal well-being.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures (amniocentesis, sonohysterograms, endometrial biopsy, chorionic villi sampling).
• Ensure proper labeling of images with patient identification and document results.
• Maintain equipment functionality, perform start-up/shutdown, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
