Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is seeking a per diem OB/GYN ultrasound technologist to perform comprehensive imaging and assist with invasive procedures for high-risk obstetric patients. The role requires ARDMS OB certification and CPR, with 2 years OB/GYN experience preferred.

The position is part-time with a minimum of four shifts in a six-week cycle, working weekdays 0800-1630, and participates in documentation and coordination with the Perinatal care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of ultrasound.
• 2 years OB/GYN experience.
• Must become proficient in fetal echocardiography within 1 year of hire date.
• ARDMS-Registered in OB.
• Certified in performing Nuchal Translucency within 6 months.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OB/GYN ultrasound studies including non-invasive, invasive and vascular procedures.
• Provide physiologic assessment of OB/GYN vasculature and fetal well-being.
• Independently obtain optimal, complete and accurate images for diagnosis and documentation.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures (amniocentesis, sonohysterograms, endometrial biopsies, and chorionic villi sampling).
