Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital is seeking a per diem Ultrasound Technologist to perform general, OB/GYN, vascular and small parts exams with minimal supervision. You will produce quality images, assist during procedures, and ensure accurate documentation while collaborating with the Radiology team.

Ideal candidates are registered in Abdomen or OB within one year of hire, CPR certified, and willing to cover holidays, overnights, and weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Ultrasound.
• Registered in Abdomen or OB and must be registered within one year of hire.
• CPR Certification.
• RVT registry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, OB/GYN, vascular and small parts ultrasound procedures.
• Provide optimal, complete and accurate images for diagnostic non-invasive assessment.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures while maintaining sterile techniques.
• Communicate findings and ensure proper documentation in PACS and reports.
