Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an OB/GYN ultrasound technologist with Maternal Fetal Medicine experience for a per diem, part-time role at Sherman Hospital in Illinois. The successful candidate will perform comprehensive OB/GYN imaging, assess fetal well-being, and document findings for physician review.

Fetal Echocardiography experience is preferred. The position features a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or major holidays and per diem compensation.

Qualifications

• Maternal Fetal Medicine experience required.
• Fetal Echo experience preferred.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of ultrasound may be implied by role.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive non-invasive, invasive and vascular ultrasound procedures for OB/GYN anatomy under investigation.
• Provide physiologic assessment of OB/GYN vasculature and fetal well-being.
• Independently provide technically optimal images for diagnosis of high-risk OB/GYN patients.
• Document findings and communicate with physicians after exams.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villi sampling.
