ColumbiaCare Services is seeking a Supportive Housing Peer Support Specialist for Swing Lane SH Apartments in Medford, Oregon. The role is peer-to-peer; you will leverage lived experience with mental health to support adults and help them set self-determined goals, while coordinating groups and offering one-on-one guidance.

The position runs Thursday to Sunday, 12:00pm–5:00pm, with pay of $22.00–$26.00 per hour DOE. A 5% language differential is available for bilinguals and multilinguals.

Qualifications

• Have personal experience with mental health challenges.
• Be Certified and Registered as a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) or Peer Wellness Specialist (PWS) through the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).

Responsabilités

• Meet with new residents to welcome them, answer questions and provide compassionate support.
• Coordinate and facilitate peer groups and one-on-one sessions with residents.
• Provide personal care services (shopping, self-help, socialization, meal preparation) and use strategic self-disclosure to build connections.
