ColumbiaCare Services is seeking a full-time Peer Support Specialist in Medford, OR to help individuals navigate housing applications, access community resources, and coordinate moving plans. You will use lived experience to connect with clients and empower independent living skills across housing, medical, and social services.

Responsibilities include assisting with housing applications, coordinating payments to landlords, and providing crisis de-escalation training and support while promoting

Qualifications

• Must have personal experience with mental health challenges.
• Certified and registered as a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) or Peer Wellness Specialist (PWS) through the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in navigating housing applications and benefits.
• Coordinate moving arrangements and manage payments to landlords.
• Provide direct skills training in independent living and self-sufficiency.
• Support clients in navigating housing, medical, and community resources.
