Lone Star College seeks a part-time Student Information/Financial Aid Advisor to mentor and guide prospective and current students on higher education pathways, FAFSA applications, Apply Texas, and financial aid options. The role involves interacting with a diverse student population and providing high-level information.
Responsibilities include daily office tasks, documentation, and coordinating with campus resources to support student success.

This position will mentor and advise students about highereducation, including the financial aid, completing FAFSAapplication, and Apply Texas application. Mentor will also providefinancial aid options and assist students with finding andutilizing appropriate resources. Required to provide high levelinformation. May interact one-on-one with students. May interactwith a high volume of customers. Will work with and assist diversegroups.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably todo the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending;carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; ordriving an automobile. No special physical demands are required toperform the work.
Hourly Pay Rate is $16.22
