Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a respected higher education institution in Houston. The role emphasizes accurate processing, confidentiality, and compliance with payroll policies and regulations, with hands-on PeopleSoft usage.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing or payroll administration.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft is required.
• Strong understanding of payroll procedures, wage calculations, deductions, and applicable payroll regulations.

Responsabilités

• Process and review payroll transactions, including employee hours, earnings, deductions, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize PeopleSoft to enter, maintain, and verify payroll data and employee information.
• Review timesheets, payroll changes, and supporting documentation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and research payroll-related inquiries from employees and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper documentation in accordance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
• Support payroll reporting, audits, and other administrative duties as needed.
