• Bachelor's degree in related field and 3+ years payroll experience.
• Thorough knowledge of complex payroll rules and ability to troubleshoot processes.
• Excellent customer service and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Manage all contingent payment documents to ensure accurate processing and posting.
• Manage data entry to PeopleSoft of contingent payroll forms and documents.
• Oversee Graduate/Resident Assistant payment program and set up in PeopleSoft Additional Pay.
• Maintain payment spreadsheets used to track biweekly payments and data changes.
• Process student employee payments, timesheets, pay rate changes, and terminations.
• Lead payroll workflow to meet CPB deadlines; train staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Run payroll steps to produce Gross Pay files for CPB submission; troubleshoot system issues.
• Update PeopleSoft steps after upgrades and contribute to payroll project testing.
• Back up Regular payroll processing and support Payroll Manager in absence.
• Coordinate PACS Contingent file processing and weekly submissions to CPB.
• Verify ImageNow and PeopleSoft data for PACS weekly files; research errors.
• Resolve pay rate issues, reclassifications, stop payments, and W-2/W-4 updates.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid and FWS to ensure funds are used per policy.
