Job summary

HCA HealthOne is seeking a Patient Logistics Specialist - Part Time to join our team in the Denver area. This role involves handling patient disposition, bed availability coordination, and coordinating transfers and transports with a strong emphasis on service quality.

The position requires an associate degree or higher, comfort with medical terminology, and experience in acute care settings is preferred. Shifts are 12 hours, including nights, with rotating weekends and holidays, located within

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Prefer experience in an acute care setting, ED preferred.
• Understanding of how patient populations move through hospital settings.
• Behavioral Health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; medical terminology familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Respond to phone calls with urgency and good customer service.
• Gather initial information to open new case and prepare clinical packet.
• Maintain awareness of facility medical staff, services and programs.
• Locate resources and coordinate information for patient disposition/admission.
• Maintain inventory of bed availability for non-HCA beds.
• Accept, track and facilitate hospital transfers and transports.
• Provide status updates on patient cases.
• Assist scheduling and prioritizing discharge transports and support Patient Logistics Center.
