Job summary

HCA HealthOne is seeking an EMT Transport Coordinator in Denver to manage patient transfers, bed placement, and timely transport coordination across facilities. The role requires EMT certification and at least 2 years of clinical experience, with strong EMTALA knowledge and customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• EMT Certificate is required with hospital or clinical exposure.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical or hospital experience, ideally in ED or acute care.
• Strong knowledge of EMTALA and regulatory requirements for ambulance transports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with physicians, offices, and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs transfer center functions with centralized patient placement using clinical protocols and facility data.
• Coordinates transfer and transport of patients to appropriate facilities.
• Follows protocols and resources to safely place patients and manage bed capacity.
• Collaborates with team to ensure timely admission and accurate patient information.
• Maintains patient data in center systems and shows professionalism in all interactions.
