Job summary

You’ll greet patients, manage front-office operations, and support scheduling and collections, collaborating with the Clinic Director and therapists to ensure a positive first visit through the final appointment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Comfort discussing financial responsibilities and collecting patient payments.
• Strong computer proficiency and experience using an electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors, creating a warm, professional experience from entry.
• Coordinate appointments, rescheduling, and proactive patient outreach to keep plans on track.
• Verify insurance benefits and communicate financial responsibilities; collect copays/deductibles/balances.
• Follow up on patient balances via phone, text, and email with professionalism.
• Partner with Clinic Director and therapists to maintain full schedules and patient plans of care.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the EHR and scheduling systems for smooth operations.
